DieHard Batteries review: DIEHARD BOOTS
I purchased some working boots (die hard) and worn them twice for work. They were very uncomfortable and took them back to SEARS in Chula Vista CA,but the store refused to take it back. I don't want my money back I just want some comfortable work boots. I've purchase several boots from SEARS and never had a problem until now. I don't know if the boots were defected but they are very uncomfortable. I'm a construction worker and trust me i need some good boots but i cannot work with uncomfortable boots. Can someone help me out? I'

DieHard Batteries review in Daytona Beach, Florida: Car Battery
Took Diehard battery in to sears and had checked, and it tested bad and actually tripped the breakers on there machine twice. Noting that it was bad . its under a 3 year free replacement but without a customer number or original reciept it cant be warrantied . I tried old phone number that it may have been under with no luck. All i needed was a replacement battery even if allowing them to flag it from that day forward there will be no additional warranty STILL sorry cant help you. Wasted $150

What is the problem whith Sears they are the only ones that carry diehard so what do you need a receipt for if it failed before warranty exchange it manufactures will credit them a free battery and you got a happy customer trying to weasel your way out of hounoring your warranty is bad business that's why your unable to compete shady practice I am stuck whith a 215.00 dallor battery because I can't remember the phone number I gave
Sorry but it’s on you!! Stop for a moment and THINK!!
No, don’t pull your *** yet. Think about how dishonest you actually are then multiply it by a hundred. That is what they have to do. Just because it has their name on it doesn’t mean YOU PURCHASED IT!!!
You COULD have taken it from a junked car. It COULD be a present. There are MORE DISHONEST reasons then honest ones and THAT is what they have to deal with. Why is it so hard to understand?
They are in business to make money and they are not about to just give away a free battery because YOU SAY it’s warrentied. This is on you for not keeping a vehicle file. This is on you for not keeping a receipt. How can you blame them for protecting themselves just as YOU WOULD??
Now, that being said, here is a few tips for you for the future. Get a manillia envelope and start keeping a file on your vehicle purchases. Start taking pictures of the receipts and storing them in a separate file. Make sure to note the date and type of purchase.
I.E. battery 12/30/18 warranty. Just like you would caption a photo. None of this is going to help you NOW, but it will be invaluable in the future.
What you are expecting them to do goes against everything in business and no company would still be in business if they bought into every hard luck case. Your logic is flawed and you should really take a more mature position. They cannot just give you a free battery. All the lying and tantrums will do is close down the avenues you do have.
Admit atleast to yourself that YOU SCREWED UP and learn from it. Do not expect that in today’s age that someone else is going to have your back. They are a business and if you can’t follow the terms of any warranty then you need to let someone with a bit more life experience handle the situation. You are defaming them online because YOU don’t think it’s fair that YOU are asked to prove you actually purchased the battery.
They have done NOTHING WRONG other then tell YOU no!! This site is for ACTUAL complaints and NOT for you to show your self entitlement and spoiled outlook on life. You failed to protect yourself and are lashing out at a innocent party.
Be a adult and accept that you don’t always “win” at life and try and act more mature. Nothing in your post has shown any wrongdoing on their part and has only gone to show your issues.
